Ideas for multisensory learning activities

The Dyslexia, ADHD, and DCD-Friendly Study Skills Guide next to this box has a lot of different examples to make learning multisensory.  You could try:

  • HEAR: Record yourself saying key learnings from class in your own words; use Podcasts (check they're relevant and accurate); make up a song to help you memorise information.
  • SEE: Create memory cards, animate your notes if you like to draw, watch a movie on Kanopy about your subject.
  • DO: Create your own quiz to challenge yourself; role play a scenario; maybe visit a museum or cultural institute where you can learn more about your subject.
