Plagiarism is passing off someone else’s work as your own, be it words, sentences, ideas, images, video, statistics, or any other form of artistic creation without acknowledging the original author or creator of the work.
It is stealing and a form of fraud.
People have been expelled from their studies or lost jobs for plagiarising.
Plagiarism is easy to avoid.
You can avoid plagiarism by referencing.

Reference when using direct quotes, paraphrasing and summarising and when you write information in your own words.
